iMovie Trailer - Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement
Using the iMovie app to make a trailer for the first time was a pretty fun experience. All the different options for the trailer themes were really interesting to look through and choose from. It didn't take long for my partner and I to choose one and get to work on the details. We agreed easily that Martin Luther King Jr would be something that we could find a lot of different pictures on. It didn't take us very long to gather 40 pictures off of Google and airdrop to each other. As we got started placing the pictures in our trailer, we had some technical difficulties with my app. It kept showing the same picture in multiple spots no matter what picture we changed it to. We decided to switch iPads and I airdropped the pictures I had to Evan as he started a new trailer on his iMovie app. After this, the process went really smooth. We agreed on what pictures go where and it was fun using the app and deciding what to use to match the music in the background. I'm looking forward to using iMovie more because it was so fun playing around with the designs and different options, and that was just with a trailer! I think iMovie is super easy to navigate through and this project was much more entertaining than some I've done in other classes. I will probably spend some of my own time in the future looking into the app more deeply to see what fun things I can do with it!
